How Alexer® Silicone Foam Ag works:
Alexer Silicone Foam Ag dressing contains the silver ions, which kills and inhibits the growth of bacteria. The Ag released in the presence of wound exudate is an effective antimicrobial agent against a broad spectrum of microorganisms frequently associated with the bacterial colonization and infection of wounds, for up to 7 days, based on in-vitro testing.
